Anyway, Saturday, I ended up running 1.5 mi. I planned to do 2, but got excited with some good music out on the treadmill, and let myself get caught up sprinting every time the chorus came on. It was apparently a little much, as I ended up with a cramp that wouldn't go away. So I called it a day.
Yesterday, I was in a hurry because the baby was sleeping and would soon need to nurse... so I told myself I just needed to do another 1.5, but keep it nice and easy. Even did the treadmill again just to ensure that I would go slower. Did the first mile in 9:50, then did the half mile in 4:36. It was the most normal and easy I've felt running in quite some time. It all felt pretty easy and relaxed... I really enjoyed it. Hopefully things will keep going that way.
